True American Hero – Tom Lambie At 103 years young, Tom Lambie proves age is just a number! After this #WWII veteran’s Dream Flight, he turned to our pilot, Mike, with a smile and said he needed to take him up a few more times until he got it right!!

Lambie’s legacy is one of bravery and service: completed 50 combat missions in a P-38 over the Mediterranean during World War II. He’s a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with 7 Oak Leaf Clusters, not to mention his time as an instructor for B-17 bombers. His courage and dedication are etched in history, and his passion for flying is as strong as ever.

After his Dream Flight, Tom signed his name on the tail of the plane, a tradition that started during #OpSeptFreedom, a national 61-day tour dedicated to honor members of the Greatest Generation, and our pilot signed his log book.
