World’s Strongest Woman Winner Gets Stripped Of Her Title After The Truth Comes Out

Months after losing the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman title, athlete Jammie Booker says she is still searching for clarity about why the championship was taken away.

Booker initially captured the title during the Official Strongman Games World Championship held in Arlington, Texas, in November. But the victory quickly turned into controversy. Within days of the event, organizers removed Booker’s title after learning she was born male, a revelation that surfaced when other competitors reportedly received explicit images from Booker’s past career in adult entertainment.

The decision ignited a fierce debate within the strength sports community about transparency and eligibility rules in women’s competitions.

Booker has since taken to social media to question the ruling. In a message posted to her Instagram Story, she asked critics and sports organizations to identify the specific rule she allegedly violated.

“So, can anyone actually show me the rule I violated?” Booker wrote. “I’ve repeatedly been told that I violated a ‘clearly stated policy,’ but no one has been able to point to the exact policy they claim I broke.”

In a follow-up message, Booker listed several organizations she said maintain guidelines on transgender participation in sports.

Strongman Corp., IFBB, IPF, Powerlifting USA, the IOC, USS Strongman,” Booker wrote, referencing major governing bodies. “All of these organizations have rules related to transgender athletes.”

Despite her objections, event officials said the situation became clear once they learned more about Booker’s background. According to organizers, competition rules require athletes to participate in divisions that correspond with their biological sex at birth.

Officials said that if they had known about Booker’s status before or during the contest, she would not have been allowed to compete in the women’s division.

“Had this information been disclosed beforehand, the athlete would not have been eligible to compete in the Women’s Open category,” organizers said in a statement following the controversy.

The ruling reshaped the final standings of the competition. Andrea Thompson, who originally finished second, was elevated to champion after Booker’s title was revoked. Thompson reportedly voiced frustration immediately after the event, criticizing the outcome as she stepped away from the podium.

Several other competitors later said they had no knowledge of Booker’s biological sex prior to the competition.

Three-time champion Rebecca Roberts argued that transparency is essential to maintaining fairness in the sport.

“Transgender women—people born male—should not be competing in women’s divisions,” Roberts said in a statement issued before the title was officially reassigned. “None of the athletes knew. The organizers didn’t know either. When something like that comes to light after the fact, it damages trust.”

Fellow competitor Jade Dickens echoed that frustration in comments to Fox News Digital.

“I was furious when I found out,” Dickens said. “If I had known earlier, I would have taken action before the competition even ended. Nobody had that information at the time.”

The controversy deepened after reports revealed that Booker previously appeared in explicit adult films under the stage name “Jammie Jay.” She was also nominated for awards at the Trans Erotica Awards in both 2020 and 2022.

For now, Booker continues to push for what she says is a clear explanation from organizers and governing bodies. The dispute has added fuel to a growing national conversation about fairness, eligibility rules, and transparency in women’s sports.
